With a built-in headphones port, detachable pop filter, and an adjustable table stand, Creative Live! Mic M3 is an essential yet simple, plug-and-play answer to better communications for your PC or Mac setup.

POLAR PATTERNS

DUAL POLAR PATTERNS

Designed with dual 14 mm condenser capsules and two polar (pickup) patterns, Cardioid and Omni-directional, Creative Live! Mic M3 is optimized for different setups. Switch easily between the patterns directly on the microphone and start immediately on your PC or Mac via the USB-A cable—no extra installations needed.

CARDIOID

For: Single-person recordings
Livestreams, gameplays, conference calls, or just typical everyday communication

This front-focused mode best captures sounds made directly to the front of the mic to minimize unwanted environmental sounds caught behind it, for rich and full-bodied sound.

OMNI-DIRECTIONAL

For: Multiple users
Podcast recordings with two to three hosts, group conference calls, or ASMR

This all-angle mode is captures sounds coming equally from all directions where a reasonably wide capture radius is required, to cater for multiple users or sound sources.

CONTROLS

DEDICATED MUTE BUTTON

Mute when you need to—like when an uncontrollable sneeze happens mid-stream. The mute / unmute button and LED indicator lets you stay aware and control your microphone's status instinctively.

LED Indicator Status
Blue Unmuted
Red Muted

MONITOR INREAL-TIME

Save yourself time (and frustrations) from multiple retakes and post-production edits with real-time mic-monitoring to hear and adjust how you sound, or listen in on any unwanted noise that may be affecting your recording.

RECORDING QUALITY

STUDIO-QUALITY RECORDING

Let your content take center stage with high-resolution, studio-quality recording of up to 24-bit / 96 kHz! Sound clear to your audience for all types of content that you're working on.

REDUCE YOUR POPS

Reduce plosive effects—the abrupt and sudden pops of sound that happens especially when you are pronouncing your B, P, T, and D's—with the detachable magnetic pop filter. Simply place or lift the filter from the magnetic grooves as needed.

90° Adjustable Angle

Change the angle of the microphone to exactly where it needs to be with its detachable and adjustable table stand that allows for up to 90° tilt angle with 360° rotation.

1/4-20 UNC Compatible

Mount and attach it to any common standard tripod setup that supports 1/4-20 UNC thread. Its slim and compact form factor also makes it a great fit in any type of setup.

TIPS FOR BEGINNERS

MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD EFFECTIVELY

Whether you are a novice in the world of streaming or just want your communications to sound crystal clear, here are some tips and advices that we have to offer!

Placement

Find the right distance between you and your microphone

The general rule of thumb is to place the microphone about 6-12 inches away from where you are speaking. While the microphone should be placed relatively close to you, do take note that your voice may come across overly bassy if you are speaking too closely into it.

Directional Setup

Direct your voice into the microphone

High frequency sounds, like voice, are very directional, so you should be facing the microphone as much as possible. If you turn your head away from the microphone during recording, your voice may come across unintentionally dull or airy.

Sensitivity

Take note of what's in your background or on you

Take note of any jangling jewelleries or watch that's on you, loose clothes ruffles, or any items that may potentially create unwanted noise while you are recording, especially when you get too excited mid-stream.

Test, Test, and Test

Practice to find out what works for you

Sit in front of the microphone, start recording, and get used to how your setup works. Replay it to figure out your habits and nuances—the more natural you are behind the microphone, the more engaged your audience will be.
